That combo is $272 at newegg without shipping, so it's comparable. BTW- they show that mobo as being SDRAM, but I'm sure it's DDR. They should change the description. Pretty good combination really.

I've got one of the Epox 8KHA motherboards running a 1.33 (@ 1500 mhz) AXIA "Y" Tbird. Nice DDR board, one of the few true KT266 chipset boards out. Super stable and it pulls a Sandra memory benchmark of 892/695 using Crucial PC2100 (CAS 2.5) @ 150 mhz FSB.

I was thinking that ddr memory has to be in pairs if you want to upgrade that is why a lot of boards on yl have 2 slots.....

The reason it has 2 memory slots is because that chipset has an issue with more than 2 banks of installed RAM. DDR does not have to be installed in pairs. This issue is explained on amd's web site I believe someplace in the tech docs
