Dammit! We live in a nice, quiet suburb - and today I find that my bicycle is stolen! I've always kept my and my wife's bike sitting in the garage- we live in a townhouse and the garage is an open space - think one giant garage for the building (4 units) separated by garage doors - and the garage door next to ours is vacant left unlocked.
Thank god my wife's bike wans't taken - I made sure to lock THAT one up.
Called the local police as well to report it (probably isn't going to do any good, I know) and left a msg for them to call me back. It's a Trek, and there IS a sticker from the bike shop that I got it from - I got it at a place 3 hours away from here (while in college) so that might be a good ID but I don't know what good it'll do . . ..
EDIT:
I am kinda bummed as that was my first "nice" bike that I had, was my transport during college and I just patched it up so we can use it again . . . how likely - and I'm thinking not very, if at all - are my chances of recovering the darn thing?
