I have had my Moto 360 for about 3 months now and i havent had any complaints about it. I have the capability to connect both my LG G3 and my iPhone 5s and get notifications from both simultaneously.

Just wondering if anyone has connected both their Apple watch to an Android Device as well as any kind of iPhone. I have to say for the 140 something bucks that I paid for my Moto 360, it has been well worth it.

How the hell did you manage to get notifications from the iPhone to the 360? My iPhone refused to even show the 360 in the BT screen.

Here is a link where they will show you how to make that happen. But you will need a android device in order to do this. I had one of my own but you can ask your android buddies. I just happen to get an iPhone for my work phone and I already had my Moto 360.

Never heard of that. Not surprised though, considering it was back in May, and I got rid of my iPhone 6+ in feb.

Keep the 360. The only reason to get the Apple Watch, is to have a smaller watch that begs less attention. That part, it's good at. I tried it out for a week, and I don't like Apple's philosophy behind wearables. It wants you to spend more time on your watch. I prefer Android Wear's approach that a wearable is just a glimpse of information.
Of course, if that sounds good to you....then it's worth a shot.

Apple Watch was a flop on day one and and still is today. I don't think it will change soon.

Yeah, I'm sure Apple is regretting the more than $1 billion it made in the first two months of sales, completely eclipsing a year's worth of Android Wear sales. What would have constituted a non-flop to you?

The baffling thing about the the Apple Watch launch is that lots of people had completely unrealistic expectations. They wanted an accessory (albeit an expensive one) to immediately make the same kind of money that the iPad or Mac took years to produce. No, don't wait for even a second quarter of sales to judge the Watch's long-term success -- if it's not an instant cultural phenomenon, Apple is dooooomed.

You define flop very differently than I do, not even factoring in the massive money Apple has made already. About 80% of the apps I use on my iPhone have all had major updates specifically to add Apple Watch support and Apple Watch only features. I'm guessing your basing your flop comment on your personal perception of the product and nothing else.

I don't think your definition of flop is backed up by the numbers, and Christmas sales will be brisk.

Your comments will be amusing to revisit over the years

Come on man, I'm no Apple fanboy or anything, and while it may not have been the game changer some expected, it's hardly been a flop.

He's a mech watch fan, they'll never accept the change over, sort of like BlackBerry dying all over again.

There'll always be mech watches, but the sector will shrink significantly. I saw a kid at Popeyes last week with a SS Apple watch, that was a significant % of his monthly income.

Isn't the number of iwatches sold around the same as the gear watches?

Once the kid grows up he'll realize he is going to need a man's watch.

F-150 outsells every other vehicle, but that doesn't mean it's any good. It's only good if you are a Ford fanatic.

btw I thought Apple has been hush hush about the overall figure.

That first point is valid, but the general consensus among tech reviewers is that the Apple Watch is the best smartwatch on the market, if just because it feels more complete than the others. Google's doing a good job of updating Android Wear, but some of the recent updates feel more like they're catching up to where Apple was on day one.

Apple has been quiet about units, so anyone who says definitively that Apple has shipped X volume of Watches isn't going to be accurate. However, you can get vague clues as to how well it's doing based on quarterly revenues and comments. For example, we know for sure that Apple made "well over" $1 billion from the Apple Watch in its launch quarter, and that it sold more Watches in 9 weeks than it did iPads in a similar timeframe. Since Apple sold 3 million iPads in the tablet's first 11 weeks, it's safe to presume that Apple moved somewhere over 2 million Watches. There's no telling that Apple will keep up that momentum (at least, not before the holidays), but... that's a lot, especially when most of the competition is counting on lower prices to save the day.

Just curious, we've been over this backwards forwards and sideways, do you think anyone in the forums is unaware of your opinion?

I think it's safe to say any metric presented will not sway your opinion.

Sort of funny, TBH...

To summarize the review:

If you like iPhones (and have one), get an Apple Watch.

If you like Android (and have one), get an Android Wear.

Which is pretty obvious. Things only get interesting when you can use a watch with either OS. For now, there really isn't much choice at all between the two. I don't see anyone first deciding on a watch, and then getting the necessary phone to match. That decision goes the other way around, phone first, and then (maybe) the watch that works with said phone.

The Moto 360 looks waay better than that...The apple watch (yeah what an original name) looks like a joke, if so many people rant about the Samsung Gear designs, they look dope comparing design with this thing...And i thought the UI was going to be beautiful, but Android Wear looks way better, it is more like Tizen all black...

You are a huge fucking troll. Why you are allowed on this forum still is beyond me.

Do you have anything better to do with your life than shit on Apple in threads?
