Smaller
Better speaker
Better battery life
Software as good as N5
Affordable nice cases (this is actually a major one) The cases offered at Motorola are awesome and very slim
Like the design better than the N5

On a separate note, Moto only sold 500,000 Moto Xs, but HTC sold 5 million HTC Ones within a month. It's sad HTC's still going downhill despite outselling Motorola 10-fold for flagship devices.

Motorola was able to survive on all their IP and now they are living on google's dime.

Motorola is basically solely responsible for the wireless communications we enjoy today.

As much as I would be sad to see HTC go down, that's a misleading comparison. The One is available globally, whereas the X is only sold in the America's.

I just received my Nexus 5 after giving my first N5 to the gf.....

The only thing holding me back from returning the N5 for the Moto X is the 720p screen on the Moto.

I know there isnt a huge difference overall between 720p and 1080p screens in 5in or less displays, but the text crispness is big enough for me. I mainly browse and read forums on the phone when I am away from home.

Sort of want but just picked up an OGP dirt cheap and liking the big screen, 5.5" seem to be the tolerable extent of one handed use. Only person I could care to spend $350 on for Christmas prefers to keep their iPhone 4s. Should I buy one anyway?

When do you think it will officially be on the live website? It'll be honored, I can almost guarantee it - they know these biters will cancel at the full price and they want these out there.

Even if we crawl and skip any fancy approaches, if we see it right around it's infancy, we're golden. Even if it's, like, at 12:00 (GMT) or another timezone - or what time somewhere.

I'm tempted by this simply because its something new and I enjoy getting a new phone. Plus, I like some of the unique features the phone offers. But I actually really like my One and for the few times it's come in extremely handy, I'd miss the IR blaster... What to do, what to do! I've got until Monday morning to decide, I guess.

Call me crazy but I traded my Note 3 for a 16 gb Moto X and $350 cash. The note 3 is a good phone but unlike the Note 2, there was just something about the Note 3 that made me hate using it. Maybe it was the way the squared it off? It felt really weird in my hands.

I like the Moto X a lot more than the Note 3 with the exception of the screen. It's a bit more saturated on the X.

Anyway, I'm now looking at getting either a 32gb dev edition Moto X or maybe an LG G2 if I can find one below $400. Hmm.

It doesn't sound like either party was crazy. You weren't happy with the Note 3, but the other person wanted the Note 3. I don't know which carrier you guys are on but if anything you've got a better deal since the Note 3 is $700+ and the Moto X is $550+.

Edit: Did anyone have turkeys yet? I am about to explode. Happy thanksgiving to all!
