It is dual-core Krait 300 with Adreno 320, Brian even talked about it on twitter. Qualcomm naming is confusing I give you that.

The S400 is a dual core Krait 300 with Adreno 305 graphics. And nobody seems to think the Moto X uses an S400. And there was a brief time we hoped it was using an S600 (quad core Krait 300), but that seems to have been proven incorrect.
The rumor is it's just a dual core S4 Pro using the older Krait cores.

I'm surprised to see so many people dismissing the Moto X out of hand after hearing only the specs. True, specs matter, but it's not the only thing that matters. It's possible to have excellent specs and a terrible software experience. I would wait for initial reviews and/or a personal demoing of a unit before making a judgment.

I don't know, I kind of like the on-screen notifications that the Moto X will have. The blinking light on my G nexus doesn't exactly tell me much.
Yeah the N4 is like this, it's ridiculous. Must get round to changing it.The Galaxy Nexus had quite possibly the worst notification LED of all phones. It took way too long to blink, so you had to stare at your phone for a solid 5 seconds to see if the LED was actually blinking.

why is the maxx 100 more? just for the battery?
And inductive charging I believe, but it's worth it for the battery alone IMHO.
there is no way in hell thats worth 100 dollars from a manufacturing stand point.

That increased battery life is significantly noticeable if you use your phone a lot. Back when I had a Maxx I was never worried about battery life. These devices are so much more enjoyable when you know you can use them to your heart's content and still make it home that night with plenty of juice left.

There have been multiple CPU-Z screenshots. It's Krait 300. The fact that it runs at 1.7 GHz is proof enough of that.

I am pretty disappointed that the Droid Maxx isn't basically identical specs with the Galaxy S4 but with a 3500mAh battery. That's all Moto had to do to have the best phone of the year and they blew it. I am not the tiniest bit interested in upgrading from my Razr Maxx HD to the Droid Maxx. Going from dual core krait to dual core krait and 720p to 720p is lol
Yeah no point in upgrading from a Razr Maxx HD to the Droid Maxx although IF I was in the market for a new phone it would definitely be the Droid Maxx. Love that battery in the thin form factor! I still don't understand why other OEMs aren't doing this???

Straight from Qualcomm's site says MSM8960T is S4 Pro, no mention of Krait 300 cores like they do under the S600 specs. I don't know if it's Qualcomm omitting stuff from their site or what: http://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/processors/s4/specs
