Motorcycle riders stay away from Naperville Illinois Ribfest

It is now anti-motorcycle

2012 they did away with motorcycle parking

Posted comment on their Facebook page about it and they deleted it and blocked me from posting on their page.

So started a new Facebook page warning riders about their new anti-bike policy.

Edit: There may be a motorcycle lot for a $10 Fee.

There was no signage indicating it existed especially where the original area used to be and the people at that lot had no idea about it.

I stand that they are anti-bike because in addition to it costing $25 per person to get in the Ribfest if you park in the motorcycle lot costs an additional $10 while cars don't pay.

When we got down to what was the Motorcycle parking for year the woman said there was no Motorcycle parking this year and she turned away hundreds of bikes. At least three bikes were turned away behind us by her while we were talking to her.

There was no signs of any signage for Motorcycle Parking anywhere.

They could have at least posted it where Motorcycle parking used to be and informed any worker manning that location.

It is obvious one had no idea what the other was doing.

Signage just sucked at the whole event.

When you come in the north entrance there are food vendors but none have ribs. The rib vendors are at the south entrance.

Many people commented on that. There were no signs indicating ribs were across the street and other end of the event.

Because we were delayed getting into the event because we had to drive back to town to find a parking space we were down in the rib vendor area when Steve Miller band took the stage.

They had a stage with speakers and a Video board there as well.

It worked for when the Mayor and local TV and Radio station people came on the stage but as soon as Steve Miller took the stage the sound was turned off.

They could have told all the people that camped out on the grounds by the rib vendor area they were going to turn the sound off for the concert.

Instead they had a ton of pissed off people because they missed the beginning of the concert.

I looked online and I believe they did not have the Motorcycle PDF that is on the town of Naperville site on the Ribfest.net site until I brought this up because only the original parking area showed up when I looked.

Since last night when they deleted my post and blocked me that has changed. Now they linked the town link on the Ribfest site.

It wasn't there.

I have Hundreds of riders to back me up.

Once again my online efforts effect change.

Of course the jealous idiots in here will dispute that.

I still stand they are anti-bike.
