I don't like how big and round it looks. It just doesn't look right. It looks like a toddler's toy to be honest.

I think it's just too big on that person's wrist. Some of the other images I've seen where it's someone with larger wrists look fine. Otherwise, yes it does look comically large in this case.

Here's an image where it looks better on someone with a larger wrist:

Yea it would look odd on me since I have a small wrist. But that's why there are a few other models available.

No because you have a screen on your wrist, you don't need to look at the phone at all.

I'm not seeing that it's a massive difference lifting my hand with a phone in or lifting my hand with a watch. That Moto hint would be ideal.

That's the whole point. When doing navigation with a smart watch, you get prompts on your watch.

Walking around staring at your watch would be weirder than looking at your phone. Better than either would be audio cues through a headset.

You don't stare at it, do you stare at the map when you use navigation? no? Stop being obtuse. You glance at it, without removing the phone from your pocket, bag, or whatever.

I'm not being obtuse, I think that everything it does would be done better by that Moto hint. You don't even have to glance at anything then.

You also don't get any map that way. Nor do you get to read texts, get the latest sports scores and weather alerts without looking at your phone.

Actually I think it does manage to speak all those things to you (even navigation directions), but I would never walk around with a bluetooth headset, just never. I would rather walk around with the 1st gen prototype Google Glass strapped to my face than wear a bluetooth headset.

That Moto hint looks fairly unobtrusive, what would be your problem with wearing that?
If you wore a light coloured one I bet most people wouldn't even notice that you had it in.

The only thing on your list that you don't get is a visual map (you still get audio instructions) and TBH if the junction you're on is too complicated for audio instructions you're better off pulling out your phone than trying to use maps on an inch and a half circular display.

Hence the Moto Hint! Surprised no one is talking about this one... basically the non-visual part of Glass.
I'm very excited about a new Moto X (32GB of course) and a Hint. I am past the 360 now.

I'm still not sold on it due to the specs not quite there yet but decent for what they are. I like the design of the Moto x as well.
I'd prefer the snapdragon 805 and 3gb of ram. The 5.2 inch screen is perfect for me. Would be cool if there is a 64gb option.

Oh I would wear it in the car and stuff, just not while out and about walking around. Just not a fan of Bluetooth headsets.

Me either. I wear a watch daily, wearing one with extra functionality would be great. The moto 360 is the closest to what an ideal one would be IMO but it isn't there yet.

They need to create some kind of hybrid display technology where it uses lower power LED lights when it's dark and something like e-ink when it's bright or you're outside. Forget about a vibrant color display the sucks the battery dead in half a day or requires a massive device with a bigger battery.

Got my M360 today (Best Buy). Haven't actually had time to open it up and use it. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Do post a review or your thoughts and pics when you have time. Would be interested in all it can do. I would buy one just to have for fun but I need to know all it can be used for before I do so.

Would you mind posting a few pics of your wrist, M360 and of course M360 on your wrist?

I'm going to wait until someone release a convex display, ultra thin phone, then mount that on a wristband. Watches are just an intermediate step before we get to the cool wearable stuff that sci-fi and spy fiction promised us.
