I'm going to wait until someone release a convex display, ultra thin phone, then mount that on a wristband. Watches are just an intermediate step before we get to the cool wearable stuff that sci-fi and spy fiction promised us.

Got my M360 today (Best Buy). Haven't actually had time to open it up and use it. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
Do they have ones you can try on? They look gigantic in all the pictures I've seen, so I'd like to see how it looks feels on my own wrist.

Curious how different the iWatch will be to the 360.
I'm wondering if someone will bring out a hybrid mechanical smartwatch.

Looks like a normal watch until a notification comes in them displays it on the face.
Would save a bunch of battery life and look better.

They only had two left to buy, and they had no demo units. It's big, but not as big as I thought. Really doesn't feel or look any bigger than a G-Shock type watch. It really will look much better with a metal band though, not a fan of the leather.

One thing I've immediately noticed is that they need to separate the Google Now stuff from app notifications. Like if you could swipe right from the "home" screen to get to Google Now related things that would be great. Because right now if I swipe away the weather card, it's gone and you can't get it back unless you ask what the weather is like. Normal app notifications are accessed by swiping down from home, so I think they definitely could have them separate (right for Google Now, down for app notifications).

The responses to voice queries are really fast, even faster than from my phone but I suspect it's the same speed.

Starting up navigation from the watch is neat, but currently it works like this. When you say "Navigate home" it will start up navigation on your phone, and on your watch you don't get a map view, it just shows what the next step is on your route. I would really prefer to have a real time map view showing your highlighted route.

Can't say anything regarding battery yet, will wait till the day is through. After getting a few email notifications and using the maps and google search for a bit I'm down to 92% and it's nearly 1pm.

Eug: That's another interesting point with the C533As, in that 110/880Mhz seems to be the hurdle in many cases. I've read alot of posts from people with BX mobos that do 110/880 getting stability at 1.75-1.85v, but not alot of people seem to be stable at 112/897 at any voltage without uber-cooling. People like me with only the 112/897MHz increment to choose from seem to get stuck back at 103/825 the majority of the time.

I still think the Slotket!!! is a good piece of hardware, there's just apparently something about the MSI 6905 v1.1 that seems to be a little more stable at higher MHz, at least in my case. May have something to do with shorter PCB traces, less crosstalk, or some other electronic effect I don't understand (which is basically all of them ).

Yea the navigation stream would be nice. Does it talk while it navigates, or is that still up to the phone? And presumably you can use any smartphone?

I'm going to assume you meant to quote me?

The watch does not say anything, it has no audio playing capabilities as far as I can tell. It starts up the navigation on your phone which is where you'll hear directions, while the watch simply displays the next step. I'll try and get some pictures later today.

I'm using it with an LG G3 and it works fine. I believe as long as you have Android 4.4 (my G3 is 4.4.2) you're good to go.

It's a tapatalk error. I made a thread about it once but nobody else seemed to have suffered it.

I suspect it's to do with duplicate post IDs from the earlier forums.

Here's a quick pic. I don't have big hands or big wrists.

I guess it's not bad it just looks a bit too round. My wrist is smaller so I would need a custom band. Is the band removable so you could poke more holes in?

You are supposed to be able to use your own band, but you won't need to cut holes in the leather one that it comes with. They nearly go all the way to the watch face:

That's not bad. Does the black bar on the bottom by the 6 o'clock position obscure anything?

I really have no desire for a smartwatch unless I can place and receive phone calls with it without needing a phone too on me at the same time.

So you want to pay for two different sims/phone plans and have two phone numbers?

So while driving the 360 started vibrating, alerting me to a phone call (I set it so that the phone is muted while I have the watch connected). Normally I have to pick up my phone to see who's calling, but a quick glance at the watch showed who it was, and I was able to decline the call from the watch with a swipe. Very simple, very quick, very nice.

I find that useful in the car a lot. Especially for calls and texts. Sync the phone with your Bluetooth in car system and should be good to go. I guess the previous poster assumes you can sync your phone's number with the watch.

Then again most cars with bluetooth display who's calling and I can answer from the steering wheel if I want.

I thought the 360 was big check this out:

Here's what it's like to use a watch as a phone

Have you gotten the time to use it enough to report your battery life?

It's now 9:30pm and my 360's battery life is down to 28% (note I do have the ambient screen setting turned ON which it says uses more battery). After a full day with the watch I have to say I really like it. Aside from a few phone calls and photo taking my phone stayed in my pocket. The watch really cuts down on the many times I used to bring out the phone just to check for stuff. And this had another unintended benefit... My phone's battery life! My G3 is at 68% right now, usually I'm down to the 30's by this time, so that's cool.

There are some things I think need to be done like separating Google Now from general notifications, but overall I am impressed. Was at my uncle's house and all of them noticed the 360 and liked the look, and they're an iPhone family.

I might sell it if I'm able to get a good profit, but otherwise the 360 is a definite keeper for me.

The Moto X is a fantastic looking phone.
Love pretty much everything about it except 2 things.
-2300mah battery. It must be one hell of optimization to make this an all day phone.
I'm spoiled from using a G2 and its 3000mah battery.
-Although we see 2 speakers up front, from the specs, it say 1 speaker front and 1 back.
Whats the point if you're not going to have stereo speakers.

There is only 1 front facing speaker located at the bottom of the screen, no speaker at the back or any other place.
