First day with the 360! I though the battery would die, but I have it w/ screen on mode to off (same as my G Watch. Its about 11 hours since I took it off the charger, but I'm at 50% exactly. My G Watch was at 81% the other day when this happened (approx 11 hrs as well)

Mind you I don't interact too much with the watch itself. Its more of a cue to pick up my phone. I might glance at a notification once in a while and swipe it away.

Just no way a 2300mah battery can hold up.

I never had battery life as my top priority until I got the G2.
I went from One S -> Nexus 4 -> Nexus 5 so usage habit never changed.
It was always "let be careful so I don't run out of battery".
Then I got a G2 and wow, "do what ever the hell I want and still have plenty of battery at the end of the day"
Can't settle for anything less now.
Well that's made some decisions for me.

Now just need to decide if the Note 4 is too big.

I love the Moto 360, but the battery and old processor are just killing me. I want to get an Android Wear so bad, but I think I'm going to have to wait.

Figure I'm going to wait until the Nexus is out before I buy anything, so I'm just going to pray that the Moto S is a supersized X that will use a 5.9" panel like the rumored Nexus.

I doubt it will be 5.9 inches. I hope not I don't want a screen that big.

Why does Moto make one bezel larger than the other? They did this with the previous Moto X and my OCD couldn't take it. LG even took it one step further, not only are they different sizes, they're different colors as well!

Seriously though, why? Seems like only Samsung and Apple understand how pleasing symmetric design is on the eyes.

On my Care-O-Meter, bezel symmetry ranks some thing like this...

OMGWTFBBQ|----------------^-|Zero F's Given

Now if the left & right sides were different, yeah, that would drive me batshit crazy. But top and bottom? Don't care. At all.

Well it only bothers me when the phone is landscape, so that does make it the right and left.

Well that's made some decisions for me.

Now just need to decide if the Note 4 is too big.

And then there were multiple articles posted after that phone arena article basically saying take battery reviews with a grain of salt. I've read too much about all these phones (HTC, LG, Moto) to have any clear picture of what *actually* is what I would experience with the phone. But battery life isn't a make or break issue for me, personally - especially coming from an iphone. I'm at my desk all day most of the time, I just leave my phone plugged in. Especially with some nice accessories from motorola that may make it way less important. I'll be happy to buy the turbo charging unit, even if it's not as good as advertised.

And the battery bump from Android L, which Motorola will get first, is huge: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/test-cen...e-battery-life-but-its-no-faster-than-kitkat/

ZDNet just did a really positive review on the phone. I encourage you to look it up.

I'm waiting until the next Nexus phones are officially unveiled.

I love my Moto X, but I have that tech addict bug, and yes, would generally love to not ever worry about battery. It seems normal to me, and it's an expected tradeoff of the svelte design and size of the Moto X and similar phones. I mean, while standby time is generally always better on iOS devices, I experienced similar battery life under usage.

I'd say I'm fully happy with the Moto X's battery life, because it's similar or better than what I had known in the past. Leagues better than the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, so there's that.

I just don't want a phablet, at least, I don't believe I do. I haven't been enthused by the idea of something so massive, which is why I was so enamored by the original Moto X (which I have). The current one... I'm not sure, but I might just have to accept that kind of size.

A nearly 6" Nexus X or Nexus 6? I don't know... but the rumored 5.2" Nexus? I'll have to look into both - it seems spec-wise, the hardware of either the 5.2 or 5.9" models will be a step or two above the new Moto X. I believe the battery is supposed to be larger in both of them.

Battery life is important to me. I leave for work at 18:00 and get home at 08:30 and charging in between is a bit of a pain in the arse. I've stuck with Samsung phones for a while as I can either put in a larger after market battery or do a quick battery swap if things get low. I was hoping for a change of vendor but I'm now thinking of either a note 4 or s5.

Report: The Nexus 6 is Made by Motorola, And Is Terrifyingly Massive
http://gizmodo.com/report-the-nexus-6-is-made-by-motorola-and-is-terrify-1638883321

Great I was looking to get this phone but 5.92 inches...ugh don't think I'll want that. 5.5 is the biggest I would want in a phone.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 5.9 inch Nexus 6 is about the same size as the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus. If Motorola can make a very small bezel, it might not be too bad compared to other phablets.

That's not a bad guess. Most seem to guess the Nexus X will be smaller than the iPhone 6+.

According to the link I posted it looks like it will be 5.9 inches. I'm hoping it's not because I've been waiting for a new phone to buy. Maybe the form factor will be comfortable. But I would really need to try it out in person before getting a phone that big. The one plus size I could deal with slightly.
