I heard that the Motorolla's aren't as good as the Toshiba's. What's the difference? Is there any speed difference? Reliability?

Always remember to include shipping cost when comparing prices. This vendor is famous for high shipping to cover "low prices". That said, both the Motorola and Toshiba Cable modems are at good prices here for an outright purchase (ie. No MIR). Shipping to my location was $15. Total, $140 fro the SB4100 and $138 for the Toshiba.

One difference between the two, the Toshiba has a five year warranty and the Motorolo only two.
