Even with CompUPlus' exorbant shipping, this is not a bad deal. I just ordered this modem 10 days ago from newegg.com and I think I paid $105 shipped.

i just got this modem from amazon from their gold box deals..i belive it was 81 and i used a five dollar off coupon code..and there is free shipping..so if you are looking for one..check out your gold box first ...i beleive it came out to 76 dollars shipped

My ISP says that only the SB4100 is okay to use. However, this is a new item that is compatible and just really an upgrade, right? I can use this one too I would think. Anyone know for sure?
