This looks like a good deal. I've been looking for a good phone deal for T-Mobile, but I need a family plan. Amazon doesn't offer them, but they have a long discussion about just buying two phones with two service plans under the same name, and then rearranging your service to a new plan once you're in. Will they let you do this? Any charges to switch plans once you're in with them?

Bought five phones, they will let you switch to the family plan easily.

Thanks for the quick reply. So all I have to look out for is the rebate restrictions, right? Those restrictions need to match the family plan I'm going to migrate to or I can't get them I don't think.

I am an existing T-Mobile customer with a Samsung phone (Sorry, don't know which one). Could I get in on this deal, even though I already have a contract with them? Could I just start a new 1 year contract? Also, how could I get my number switched over? Also, would this new phone use the SIM card from my old one? Sowwy, but I don't know much about cellphones. Thanks for any help you could give me.

Hmm, I got in on the Sony 610 deal and want to add this to my stable, but it says ships in 2-3 days. When I am about to place order it says delivery March 1-March 15. WTH,,,,,,,,,I tried to call and Cell Phone department handles this, and they are closed on weekends.

after my experience with motorola t720 im hesitant to try anything motorola. this thing is a genuine piece of garbage. it's tempting but i think i'm going to revert back to nokias. theyre old school but at least built well.

Just an FYI, I talked to a T-Mobile rep yesterday and he told me that nationwide there's a shortage on these phones at all T-Mobile retailers. He wasn't sure if the shortage was due to Motorola not producing them fast enough, or some other reason, but he told me that stock might not be back to normal until March at the earliest.

Also, this website has the V300 for free after rebate, as well as the sleek Samsung E715 for $50 AR. I've never heard of the site but came across it when I googled for the samsung phone. Anyone have experience with intelenetwireless.com?

I recently got the E715, it's one of the better phones I got to use.
I had the T720, S105, T68 and many others.
Lately samsung phones have been very well made.

I will never buy another motorola garbage after the T720.

It's funny, I feel the same way about the t720. It's my current phone through Cingular and I'm so sick of both the phone and Cingular's lacking customer service that I'm probably going to break out of contract and switch to T-Mobile. Both Cingular and T-Mobile share towers in SoCal so I figure reception should probably be the same either way, and T-Mobile has better plans and, from what I've heard, better options available to their customers.

What is so bad about the t720? I really like my V300. The only problem I have had so far is that occaisionally it will lock up in the middle of the night, say 4:00 a.m. when i am sleeping, and i have to take out the batter to restart it. Other than that it has been great. Those samsung phones do look nice, though.
