I have a pretty much stock 2001 GT i-Drive 6.0.

Haven't upgraded anything yet (save for slicks since it's mostly ridden on pavement).

I finally can get a bike locker here at work, so I hope to start riding it to & from work.

No pics right now - my bike is a well-stocked (XT/XTR) 1997 Specialized FSR. I'm seriously considering upgrading after I graduate - I'm really not too keen on Full Suspension bikes anymore; I want a hardtail (X-country rider here).

I live right in the middle of a big metro area, and I use my home as the home base, so my city bike is great for me. They call it a hybrid, but I'm in the middle of the city, and it's my bike, so I can call it what I want.

It's a much improved 2001 Trek 7300 that only cost me $240 to start, roughly 1/2 the regular price of a new one. I've got an additional $260 in improved parts on it, so I've got a sweet urban warrior that can cruise with the roadies, yet still run through city parks, up grass hills, and cruise the packed gravel rails to trails paths without a whimper.
Heh, that's basically the story for my Jake the Snake. Perfect bike for commuting, but I take it over to some of the trails at Woodland Park when I want to work on my cross skills.
