Adapters. IcyDock. Some 3.5" Cages accept 2.5" (like the 800D's hotswap).

I often use silly putty picture mount adhesive or velcro. Some use duct tape. Others just screw on one side. SSDs don't weigh much and don't care how they're mounted, so whatever it takes for your situation. My only tip since they don't care about position is to mount it with the least amount of tension on the SATA data and power connectors.

I put some neoprene strips on the bottom of the drive and secured it to the 3.5" drive below it with two rubber bands. The neoprene acts as a shock absorber and holds the drives apart to allow airflow.

The retail drives come with a 2.5" to 3.5" extender, which you can buy from verious stockists online. OEM drives is just the drive itself. At the time I got my x25-m the retail was cheaper than OEM so it was a no brainer.

I guess we all have to buy new cases with 2.5 inch bay drives in the future.

4 rubber bands looped around the drive (2 "long" on each side) with a loop from each going out a hole on the side of the cage and looped around a crossbrace (like a pencil) so the drive is suspended in mid-air.

My Silverstone FT-02 comes with a special SSD tray that attaches to the back of the case. Pretty handy!

Good one... I think I remember seeing a complex version of this done with shoestrings on noisy 7200 RPM drives in 2002 I think.

... and neoprene strips, these are also awesome for noise reduction/blocking/dampening. They worked awesome inside car door panels, over wheel wells in the trunk, and for noisy swimming pool pumps, so I can imagine it doing wonders inside PCs.
