About four months ago I bought a used R9 280X off eBay, I'm assuming it was previously used for LiteCoin mining. After a couple months I start noticing unusual corrupted frames, especially in games. A few weeks back I removed and installed the latest AMD drivers for the card which seemed to resolve the issue. In the last few days though, I've noticed my mouse pointer periodically gets very laggy to the point of making it difficult to use my PC. It will do this for anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, before going back to normal for a while. I uninstalled my video drivers and I noticed that even with them uninstalled I still had the same problem. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Is my video card going bad?
