Why the hell not?

My fiancee has a blue LED mouse. Goes much better with her desk/keyboard/computer package. But IR would get bonus points just for "l33tness".

heard that the blue LED causes the mouse to skip more..i figured the infrared LED makes the mouse work closer to the red LED, then addeded another blue LED to it just for kicks.

For most optical sensors, they will actually work better with a infrared LED. I've tried with the blue and it just doesn't work.
