Hi,
I have a Logitech MX500 mouse. My system is an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with Windows XP pro. The mouse was working great. I never had any problems. Just recently, the mouse started acting strange. When you are playing games, or even just browsing the web, or at anytime, the mouse will stop working for a little bit. It does it quite often, and is really irritating, especially when gaming. But anyways, everytime the mouse stops working, I always hear that "found new hardware" sound. I think you might know what sound it is. Like, when you connect and disconnect your printer, that sound.
Any idea what is going on? Is the problem with the mouse? Or with the computer or with the OS?
Sorry, I'm a PC noob.
