Move Buyer/Seller complaints to a separate forum.

Currently, the 11 of the first 13 topics in the "For Sale/Trade" forum are about scams, trolls, and other such complaints. Such threads actually outnumber the threads with items for sale and for trade on the first page.

I am wondering how you guys feel about making a separate forum for disputes and such issues.

I'm with you guys as well those stickies are to much. some of those troll threads have been up there far to long. Move or let them drop.

Yea, it would be nice to get the troll stickies off the for sale page and into their own section like they do on Hardforum. It's annoying to have to scroll down through those just to see the few remaining for sale items at the bottom of the first page.

I don't want to increase my threads per page, the forums load slow enough as it is.

With the multiple troll threads currently active, I would hope users take EXTRA precautions to avoid this from happening repeatedly. Judging by the growing trend, it seems this isn't so. Now ask yourselves, Do we really want to hide the problem users to make trolling easier? Is it really THAT big of a deal to scroll down 10 extra threads?

Heck, we can't get most users to read the simple page of FS/FT rules let alone spend all of our time hunting trolls.

How about one or two big threads for current trolls, with their screen names in the Topic Titles and Summaries?

There is a reason why they are there for everyone to see. If they were put in their own thread, we would not get the feedback and info from all the members we need to help get the job done. Most people just would not click on that thread to see. We are performing a service here and for the few that complained that they have to scroll a few threads down? Sorry for the inconvenience, but that a small price to pay to help us do the work for you people that trade in FS/T. Increase the number of threads per page. Personally, mine is set on 60 and it loads just fine.

This is from one of the mods as we talked about this very issue. This about sums up what we are doing by putting the Trolls up on top of FS/T.

A separate Troll section would not accomplish one of the primary goals of a Troll Alert, to warn members about currently active trolls on FS/T. The entire reason for stickying those threads is to call attention to the identity of and information about the troll by putting it front and center.
