I agree, but there has to be some balance to keep a guy like him from knocking up whoever he pleases and taking off. "The necessities" to your average NFL player is peanuts, thus the penalty has relatively no impact. Do you not agree there should be some degree of forced responsibility for someone who knocks up *9* different women and doesn't intend to be around any of the kids? There has to be a fine somewhere and somehow, and though I don't agree a little kid needs 3K a month, it's closer (not entirely, 3K is a goddamn lot of money) to fair for that amount to be coming out of his pocket because of what he makes / has made in total.

But also how many of those women do you think WANTED to have his kid so they'd get paid? Child support should be reduced so that women wouldn't see having his kid as a ticket to $$$$

Child support is supposed to be used only for the welfare of the child. It's not meant to be a punishment.
