Moderator, this seems to be the same group that jumps on everybodys case if they make a minor screw up. they end up being the only members after they drive everybody away.

If you do decide to use one of these words and don't want to be considered illiterate you should at least spell turd correctly.

So someone is illiterate because he/she do not know how to spell a word that refers to something that comes out of your ass. Interesting. I think you and some other AT members should take a second to analyze your daily acitivites, which probably consist of being on AT forums for 15 hours and then off to bed, and then tell me if you are not a 'nerd.'

Actually, that KB article was last updated sometime in July, but still good information. Do you happen to know if they have a similar USB 2.0 update for W2K? I've had some problems with blue-screens in SCSIPORT.SYS and USBPORT.SYS happening laterely, after installing a couple of USB printers, and parallel-port scanner and printer to my W2K SP2 system. Until I installed those peripherals and associated mfg drivers, my W2K SP2 system used to be rock-solid.

You might want to consider this in your analysis. You were very unfortunate to not have been saved by the mods and your lame post has been at the top for the last 18 hours so how could anybody miss it. I also wasn't referring to the definition of the terms but rather the dated nature of them. They seemed to be very popular words back in the 80's. This ?nerd? is looking at anandtech a few times a day while your off at work blowing the boss to make a living.

Why is my post lame? I asked a fair question to which I do not know the answer too. I am entitled to ask questions on a public forum, right? Yes, I posted in the wrong forum section but we all make mistakes ...kind of like your choice of lifestyle -- spending hours on end on Anandtech instead of going out and making a decent living at W-O-R-K.
