Movie- Valkyrie

saw it tonight. was better than I expected. The lack of accents bothered me a little at first, but really after a while you look past that. The story is pretty amazing, and any time a movie can keep you in suspense when you know the ending they are doing something right.

All the accents mixing was a little annoying. Kind of like Enemy At teh Gates and all the main characters having English accents.

But the movie itself was good

Valkyrie was decent enough for me to enjoy it. I do feel though that it would have been a billion times better if done less "blockbuster-ish". No Cruise. Grittier. Real accents (maybe even subbed ala Der Untergang). Still entertaining though as it was.

They had English accents because the movie was a British production with British actors... it's the same thing as Valkyrie with American accents.

I really enjoyed the movie. Of course would prefer they did in German with sub titles. But that isnt realistic if they wanted it to actually sell.

He's a good actor. Not a great actor. Great actors can play many different roles. Good actors play the same role well.

And he doesn't need a comeback, since he never went away.

Valkyrie was solid and actually one of Cruise's better performances.
