Movies that sequel surpassed the original?

Austin Powers Goldfinger is the #1 comedy at the box office... 90 million in 3 days... Bruce Almighty is the #1 non-sequal comedy at the box office. However, without mention of money, I'd say the quality of the 3rd Austin Powers movie was the least of the bunch.
