Ones that I haven't seen listed that I have hated are:

1. Dark City
2. Vanilla Sky
3. Meet the Applegates

I have never been so pissed that I wasted two hours of my life like I was when Vanilla Sky ended. What a piece of dung. And Meet the Applegates taught me a very important lesson....NEVER, EVER see a movie that touts itself as the best comedy/drama/thriller/whatever since (insert actually enjoyable movie here). Come to think of it, cult classic or not....PCU falls into this category as well.

I assume the Vanilla Sky that you are referring to is the tasteless remake schlock with Tom Cruise? calling it dung is being generous.

and for all those that hate Closer...eh? I wouldn't call it great, but I can see where a lot of the animosity is that it just made them feel bad. ...which means the film succeeded, and was actually "good."

I thought the third one was the best one. Just think... no Paul Walker, Japanese girls and a Mustang with a RB26DETT engine in it... albeit I would've preferred a SKYLINE with a RB26DETT engine in it, but I can't be too choosy! The movie also had "real" races in it, not that hick drag racing crap.

Almost like they were writing the script and screen play as they went along.

heh so horrible. ruined the first for me even its like they just bullsh*tted a script to get that massive paycheck.

The sequel, Annihilation, unquestionably! I just finished this review of it, and it reminded me of when my friends and I saw it in theaters. Wow, everything that could be done wrong with a video game movie in one sterling example.

The original MK still stands as probably the best video game adaptation to date.

The old professor is gullible and teaches that you shouldn't be dubious of those in good faith. In other words, you shouldn't be skeptical of magical faries in the sky because people taught them to you in good faith. Absolute brainwashing garbage.
The cg animation looks cheesy.
And even worse, is that it's nearly 3 hours long.
Not the worst movie, but it was SHOCKINGLY BAD. I went in with high hopes too.

I thought this was pretty bad too

I was wondering when someone would point that out...

Ryan was OK, but seriously:
Thin Red Line >>>>>> Saving Private Ryan. Released teh same year, and Thin Red Line deserved way more attention than it got. If you don't think it was better then Ryan, then there's a good chance there is a blood clot in your brain (so...you should probably get to the ER--stat)

THAT'S what I was trying to remember. The memory was so painful, that I guess I had erased it from my memory. At least it didn't ruin the first Matrix for me, as I thought it was rather "meh"... (I never saw the 3rd of course; what would be the point?)

I'll add "V for Vendetta" while I'm at it. I wouldn't say it was "shockingly bad," though; but certainly very dissapointing. I think they bit off more than they could chew in 2.5 hours.

...Let's just throw in the Machowski Brothers for the hell of it.

I did not really like either of them. I take Saving Private Ryan as directing practice for the far superior (to both Ryan and Thin Red Line) Band of Brothers.

1.) Peter Pan (2003) - I liked the movie Hook (Robin Williams), but this version of Peter Pan blows..

and

2.) The Wicker Man (w/ Nicholas Cage). Opening scene makes no sense (it's there just to add a few minutes to a short movie or to set up bad dreams he is constantly having). The movie could have been so much better if they re-did the ending.

I don't know if this has been listed yet. I recently watched "My Super Ex-Girlfriend." I though it would be hilarious, but it was a terribly executed movie. Laughs were too far apart and not good enough. I find Uma very unattractive as well. It was shockingly bad.

Leonard Part 6 without a doubt. MUCH worse then anything that could have possibly been mentioned earlier (no, I didn't have time to read through the entire thread).

Nowadays I'll give up on a movie if it gives me nothing within the first 20-30 minutes, but I didn't have that luxury during my school days and Lord of the Flies is a movie I remember hating. Apparently there were 2 versions, I'm sure they both stunk 'cuz the book was boring as well, even if it did have a point.

Serenity I sat all the way through 'cuz I was home for the holidays and my Dad wanted to see it too. Sucked big time. I'm a fan of the tv series though

well...i didnt expect it to be good...but this movie was so bad i wanted to stab my eyes when it was over...it was such a waste of my time...if i wanst so lazy i would actually try to get my $2 back AND compensation for my time...that movie pissed me off so much >(

lol

Oh please, I love when someone breaks out the end-all, be-all rating that is its Rotten Tomatoes score to backup whether a movie is good or not. That website is sheer lunacy and its rating system is laughable, how about we consult a proper movie website, oh I don't know.. like metacritic, or iMDb?

lolol: 7.4/10
lolol: 75/100

94%.. haha thats rich. I never even seen the movie either so I have no prejudice against it, I do however despise Hugh Grant.

As for the thread, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy may have been a terrific book, but it was the only movie I ever walked out on to this day.

Are you retarded? RottenTomatoes had an average score of 7.8/10, roughly the same as both links you gave. 94% meant that 94% of the people thought it was worth watching.

Gotta say D.E.B.S. is way up there. And Solaris! Solaris is, to date, the only movie I have ever walked out on.
