Thomas and the Magic Railroad - My kid loves this movie. It has Alec Baldwin and frickin Peter Fonda. It sucks more ass than tick on a mule.

I quote IMDB (64 out of 100 on the bottom 100)"

t is stunning that in this day and age of movie tie-ins, that the creators (or better said owners) of the Thomas the Tank Engine franchise couldn't find a better major movie outlet for their goldmine. Face it, if they would have put 2 seconds of thought into this clunker it would have been huge. Basing it on the Shining Time Station theme was the first mistake. Why not have a nice little movie about the Island of Sodor and its engines? Why insult the audience by creating human characters that are DREADFULLY acted? Again, a simple little movie would have made a mint.

It has been 6-7 years since this movie came out and I wonder why another attempt at a Thomas movie hasn't been made. This is the most popular character for children ages 2-6. Parents (like myself) would kill for a decent big screen adaptation to take children to. Seems like somebody is missing the boat here.

As for this movie, it has all been said within the previous comments. The acting by Peter Fonda is downright embarrassing, and the storyline is confusing. More focus should have been put on the engines and less on wooden human characters. It gets a 3 from me because despite all its flaws, my 3 year old loves it, therefore giving daddy a much needed rest from time to time.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls

Avenging Disco Godfather
Mules have kicked me, but they can't bruise my hide; rattlesnakes have bit me, and crawled off and died!

Petey Wheatstraw, the Devil's Son-in-law
Beginning life as the afterbirth to a watermelon, the young Wheatstraw becomes a martial artist, but is unable to best the evil comedy team of Leroy and Skillet, who also indulge in wholesale murder. Satan restores the comedians' victims to life, and charges Petey with the task of marrying his clock-stoppingly ugly daughter to giving him a grandchild. When Petey attempts to default on the deal, he is pursued by the devil's henchmen.

Saw (the 1st) at least gets an honorable mention.

Denied on both counts

agree, history of violence wanted to seem deep dealing with violence but it was just a joke. thin story..very thin. media liked to talk about how realistic the violence was.. right... in the last half he becomes rambo.

Freddy got fingered

With scenes like Tom Green masturbating a horse, swinging a newborn baby around his head by it's umbilical chord, and wrapping himself in the flesh of a roadkilled deer, I don't see how any other movie can come close.

This is the movie I think of when 'SHOCKINGLY Bad' is the description. Most of the others in this thread are just bad movies. FGF was freaking horrible.

M. Night Shamalan or however you spell his name, his last few movies have been overhyped and pretty damn bad.

I actually liked that movie. I think they need to change their advertising though - they advertised it as a scary movie, but it wasn't. My wife just saw the Lady in the Water movie and said the same thing, good movie but not scary like the commercials make it out to be. I think that after the Sixth Sense M. Night Shamalan was promoted enough that his work could be stand-alone without having to do the fake hype that advertises the wrong intention of the movie. His movies are good, but the lastest ones just aren't meant to be really scary horror films like the commercials would like you to think

I could only stomach about 10 minutes before I shut it off and I love movies, even really really bad movies, but you gotta draw a line somewhere, lol.

Bleachboy, I was going to simply hit reply and not read any things to post about that movie, but I decided to read a couple pages and I came upon your post. It is literally THE worst movie I have ever seen, and I have seen plenty of B movies.

What really makes this movie bad is:

The movie has no directive. Who is it aimed at? Girls? Guys? No one knows! It's like they took Mean Girls, added nudity, sororities and Paris Hilton and threw "National Lampoons" on it. The whole constant hearing Paris Hilton's thoughts throws the movie even more toward female viewers, but typically National Lampoon movies are pure comedies (Black Ball... one of my favorite National Lampoons B-movies) or male-oriented comedies (such as Dorm Daze and Dorm Daze 2). This movie does not appeal to anyone.

The only thing that actually helped the movie was the two absolutely stunning lead actresses.

Unfortunately though, Bleachboy, I actually watched the entire movie...

Other than this, the only other movie I absolutely felt horrid after watching was Ultraviolet. Nothing else in this thread that was mentioned that I've seen made me feel so stupid/empty after watching it.

When it comes to V for Vendetta (one of my more favored movies), the only complaint you can really make is that it doesn't follow the comics as faithfully as people prefer. It does to an extent, but it kind of waters some of the extra tidbits down (like how Evie is actually a prostitute in the comics).

Frankly since all of those are self-admitted B movies, I fail to see how anyone could be shocked by how bad they are.

Curiously the screenplay for Beyond the Valley of the Dolls was written by none other than Roger Ebert, who also co-wrote another Russ Meyer film, Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens.

Lady In The Water

Oh that reminded me of mine.

The Village.

The only time I have ever seen an entire theater stand up and boo as they left.

(haven't seen the lady one yet though. )

I actually liked Battlefield Earth, maybe because I watched it after everyone built up how bad it was, it ended up being slightly better than expected.

Now Gili OTOH, got built up as bad, and turned out to be even worse. This might be an obvious choice for worst movie of all time. Its stench even tainted Afflacks next movie (Which was acutally pretty good) Jersey Girl.

Me too. i found some parts funny like the choking sounds of the human when Travolts character choked him every 5 mintues....

I agree with you saying Mr. & Mrs. Smith was awful, I thought what the heck is going on? The only thing you could enjoy was the special effects. As far as the plot it keeps slipping your mind that Brad and Angelina are supposed to be married in the movie, I thought what a dumb plot. Oh BTW what film or films made Brad Pitt so popular? I always wonder why is this guy so talked about, what signature film does he have?

That part about tracking the laptop by reading where the ram was manufactured didn't help my opinion of the movie either, I thought what the hell? Hollywood should leave computer terminology and tech alone!

What's the name of that movie in 95(maybe 96) that people plug a game pad into their belly botton to play video games? That is the first movie ever I have to walk out 1/2 way into the movie.

Fight Club. Some before that. But Fight Club made him 'in'.

No way, I love Kung Pow!! I think it's one of the funniest movies ever. Moulin Rouge was cool too.
It's like Mystery Science Theatre 3000, but with Kung-Fu. I liked it also.

People posting Charlie's Angels need to watch Fast and Furious. Lucy Liu is too hot for me not to like Charlie's Angels.

Napoleon Dynamite I agree with. Having seen the movie called 'Napoleon Dyn." due to lack of space on the billboard, I thought I was walking into some kind of historical film.

We have a kid with no balls whatsoever, called courageous and brave because he killed a wolf, or should I say the wolf jumped onto his sword. He was fighting minotaurs 3x his size in a few days of training.
The old professor is gullible and teaches that you shouldn't be dubious of those in good faith. In other words, you shouldn't be skeptical of magical faries in the sky because people taught them to you in good faith. Absolute brainwashing garbage.
The cg animation looks cheesy.
And even worse, is that it's nearly 3 hours long.
Not the worst movie, but it was SHOCKINGLY BAD. I went in with high hopes too.

Disagree on all counts. Guess you were never a fan of the humoungsly popular children's book. I can't wait for the next ones.

That was actually a series of books. I read them all and liked most of them. The movie was bad.

Considering how good 'The Whole Nine Yards' was, 'The Whole Ten Yards' should definitely qualify as shockingly bad.
