For me, it was the two soldiers asking specifically to be dropped at the 2nd crashed helicopter and then putting up one HELL of a fight before finally being overcome by unbeatable odds. Goddamn. That's the most recent one I remember. I felt really weird after it, a combination of sadness and rage (due to the way the dead soldiers were treated by the somolian's and the rest of NATO sitting on their asses because they weren't notified of the raid beforehand).Black Hawk Down is pretty much the only movie I can remember getting teary at.
I don't want to take away anything from all the soldiers who lost their lives, but after seeing that movie, I think we'd have been better off to stay out of it and let the somolians kill themselves off. You'd think a group of people we were trying to help would be more appreciative...
