I enjoyed Signs up until the end.
That goes for most Sci-Fi movies. If the aliens win it's bad, if the aliens lose they look weak and it's bad. It's tough to have them present the proper degree of menace while still letting the humans win in the end. Movies like War of the Worlds and Signs that have the big bad aliens taken down by something so simple are an insult.
What's the alternate? I was expecting to see him blow himself up along with the car full of bad guys after he gets the girl back.Originally posted by: SoulAssassin
Need to add Man on Fire, while it's one of my favorite movies in recent years I thought the alternate ending was so much better.

Blow was basicially a true story, how else were they gonna end it?
Again.. some movies I just didn't like the way it ended. We know Jung was going to jail at the end, they didn't need to drag it on with the the whole "he broke a promise to his daughter" thing and his hallucination of her visiting him.

For the few people that actually saw "Invasion" with Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman.. that was the worst ending to a movie.. ever... period.

The Bridges of Madison County - I bought that DVD expecting Nudity.
That one was that they literally ran out of money. The film ended when the funding did.Originally posted by: DrPizza
Most "wtf" ending: Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

It's not that it was a bad ending, but I hated the ending of Seven.
Also, I found this discussion of Lord of the Rings (and specifically the part about the ending of Return of the King) to be rather amusing. Ending is discussed at about the 2:20 point.
