I'm on Verizon. My Galaxy Nexus was my first smart phone, have had it for over 2 years. Recently upgraded to the new S5, and am at my wits end trying to get my Injustice save game transferred over to the S5.
I've been reading and experimenting and nothing is working. Since the VZW S5 is not rootable yet, I cannot use Titanium. So I've been using Helium. Helium *seems* to do the backup properly, and then *seems* to do the restore correctly, but when I log into Injustice on the new phone, it most certainly did not do the restore correctly.
I've tried it using the "PC Download" option, where it allows you to use a web interface to both phones. I've also gone the manual route where I tell it to back up to Local Storage, then manually copy the files under \carbon\com.wb.goog.injustice to the same location on the new phone and then run the restore from Local Storage on the new phone. But again when I log into Injustice on the new phone, the restore did not work.
I tested the same procedures with Angry Birds, and the transfer works 100% properly and the save game is successfully transferred and loaded.
The "Google Cloud Save" feature is a joke. When I log into Injustice on my new phone, it shows the cloud icon meaning a backup is available to restore, but when I restore it, it is literally from months ago... it has less than half of the characters I've earned.
I can continue to log into the game on my old GNex and it has the proper save game, and it allows me to continue playing, saving the progress just fine.
As I mentioned, I am ready to scream. This should work, but it doesn't.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Or even better, if you have two Android devices and you play Injustice and are able to move the save game from one device to another, could you let me know what program(s) you use and what steps you take? Remember, I cannot root the S5 yet, so the process cannot rely on being rooted.
I have a *lot* of time into this game, and I was so excited to be able to play it on my new phone (the GNex lags constantly playing this game) but not being able to transfer the save game seriously has me so angry that I'm ready to throw both phones against a cement wall and then stomp on them until they're nothing but tiny pieces.
