Mozilla Firefox open new tab when clicking

For some links theres a open new window command, i.e. links in AT forums, is there a way to make them open on in tabs when clicking on them instead of opening a new window? I know you can right click and new tab....

Also, is there a way to click to open up bookmarks instead of going to the menu or ctrl+b?

I'm not sure about the bookmark one, but you can hold Control and click a link to open it in a new tab (at least you can in Firefox, though it probably works for Mozilla as well).

Not quite now that I'm middle clickin like a mofo, is there a way to "alt-tab" between tabs?

best feature in Firefox...also, one less documented feature is to double middle click on the bar where the tabs are and it will open a blank tab...good if you want to check another site real fast, but this only works if there are tabs present.

oh, and middle clicking the actual tab will close the tab, I was middle clicking for like a month or two before realizing you could close the tabs like that...it's just more convenient than the little red x in the corner.

i knew that, but i disabled it because i always have my middle click to do double-click in windows
