mp3 jukebox/player/organizer....

guys...

alright...so i finally got a new harddrive for my laptop...it's a nice 30 GB drive...much much bigger than my old 7GB HDD......so i'm going to downloading a lot more music...and partitioning the drive to install linux, etc......

the thing that i really want, is a nice mp3 jukebox/player/orgrnaizer...i want to be able to serch for specific mp3s.....make different playlists...sort by albulm, title, artist, etc.......i don't really care if the program is for windows or linux....it just needs to be simple, elegant, easy to use....most importantly it needs to use very little system memory and very little processor time...

basically...i want an amazing solution....

any ideas?


also...i'm looking for a program like kazaa lite for linux...any ideas?

good luck w/d'loading...hope the RIAA doesn't plop you on its list.

I've used MusicMatch Jukebox (but you can't really search for tunes). I just like the interface and its EQ is better than WinAMP and Windows Media, imo.

I use winamp. 2.9 and previous allows you to press j and then type in a song or artist name to find tracks. Very useful IMO.
