I'm getting a torrent right now of the PF performance from the BBC, I'd like to see if maybe they didn't have someone babbling over it or cut off the soloing at the end.

i'm doing my best. dreamhost only updates my bandwidth stats once a day and they haven't done it yet. assuming 100% of the hits to my site in the past day downloaded the floyd show, i'm already over my limits.

Just downloaded the Pink Floyd audio stuff - way awesome.

Roger Water's voice sounds pretty rough but David Gilmour's seems to be in pretty good shape.

hey, i highly appreciate the host of the floyd and who shows....tried to only hit ya once and take one of the shows from u, 1 from another, 1 from another....want to keep as many people as possible able to get rips of these things!

This thread go me thinking about starting a download a day type of thing. It will consist of only live stuff as I don't want to get my ass sued.

Would anyone be interested? I have a ton of stuff from Wilco, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, Older Zeppelin, Ryan Adams and a bunch of other stuff.

It is not branded by anything, has the entire portion of Speak To Me that got cut off in the other videos, etc.

I didn't get as slammed with the audio MP3 as I thought, so like I said I'm going to start up a download a day and see how that works.

I'd like it if someone else has the bandwidth to host, though. That MTV version makes me want to stab things.

This was the absolute $hit... I just can't believe how much Waters sounds like an old man nowadays... Gilmour sounds as great as ever though. I hope to god they go on tour and play around here, cuz I'd pay just about anything to see these guys before I die...


I just checked out some of the other footage from the AOL site... does anybody have a rip of the Sting set? or the Stevie Wonder set?

I'm fvcking amazed that Sting played all the old Police stuff... it sucks they couldn't just get a Police reunion, tho... It aint the same without Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. It's just great to see that Sting actually came out and rocked as opposed to just playing slow stuff.
