MS Academic Software

Does anybody know what software is generally available when your school has the bulk academic license. I just got Office XP Pro for 15$ today but I am wondering if there is anybody that would know what other software is available for the Cal State system... This would sure beat waiting until the software lady finally replies to my price requests for software. I am hoping to get Visual Studio or something like that.

hehe m$ is a real pal to us do-gooders over at UW (see sig). I took entry level programming and they gave me, win98, win2k, winxp pro, visio, .net server, server 2000, adv. server 2000 all for free , complete with ISO's and cd keys. GOD BLESS M$!

dunno, might want to check with your IT department or CS department...I know microsoft offers MSDNAA to several large colleges...

Just go ask at your campus bookstore or one of the faculty in the CS dept, they should know.

My school offers:
XP Pro
Office XP Pro
Office 2000 Pro
Frontpage 2000
Office X v.X (mac)
Office 2001 (mac)

Each is $30...which is higher than other schools I know :disgust: I'm kinda mad they don't have Win2k Pro anymore, I'd rather buy that than XP...so, I guess I just won't buy any right now

Here at CSU Sacramento we get office, visual studio, and windows for cheap (my copy of Office v.X for the mac was $17).

Paid $12 total for WinXP Pro and Office XP Pro at my school.

I even have original media.
