MS MN-720 802.11g wireless notebook adapter $14.99 no rebate

Did a quick search and didn't see anything...
I dropped by the Reno CompUSA and grabbed an ad, saw they had the Microsoft MN-720 802.11g Wireless Notebook Adapter for $14.99 out the door. I grabbed one and there were still a couple left. It was in the weekly flier, so I guess this might be nationwide.

hmmm... when I originally posted this it showed Sacrament, N. Sacramento and Fresno as having them, but now all stores listed as OOS...

just a heads up, a few of my local officemax's were clearing out MS networking equipment too.

try looking on a clearance table, if you don't see them in the regular networking section.

i found one comment on the web indicating this works with netstumbler

Can someone confirm that it does indeed work, meaning ALL features of netstumbler.
My current gigafast FAR 801.11b card does not indicate signal strength, for example.

It seems to work fine for me however I'm a new user of netstumbler so I don't know that ALL features work but I do get signal strength, noise, and snr.

i picked up a USB adapter for $19 and an ethernet PCI card for $5.

While not a hot deal, I got a linksys WRT54G from Amazon for $52 after rebate, no tax or shipping... There is also the sveasoft firmware upgrade available for this router that adds quite a bit to the router, but haven't tried it yet.
