MS Money or Quicken?

I am a college student who spends too much.. (but is very good at talking his way out of credit card fees) What should I use now that I have decided to be diligent - MS Money or Quicken? Also, are there any others worth considering? I basically pay each of my credit card bills online, my cable bill online, my phone bill by check, cell phone bill by check, and utility bill by check...

I need to start keeping track of my dinero.

I use Money. Never used Quicken so can't comment on it. A lot of people seem to prefer Quicken over Money, although Money has served me very well thus far.

I use Quicken. I've never tried MS Money. It works well enough for me.

Another vote for MS Money. I only use it to keep track of my checking, credit cards, and cash withdrawls. Nothing fancy, no stocks or anything. Works like a champ.

I especially love the budget forecast feature. It's a "must" for people like me who make a living on a very tight budget.

It's money baby. Actually I've used both and if you're just doing simple stuff like checking/savings and CC accounts, there is almost no difference.

i use money. it allows you to synchronize to msn money central and your pda...

I use Money because MS keeps giving it away before a big upgrade to it. I stay 1 year behind the curve. It also syncs with my ipaq nicely. I'd been using Quicken, (back when it was DOS based & migrated to the Windows version) and switched to Money when they started to give it away.

I'd qo with Quicken. I've used it for 3 years now, and really like it. IT seems to get better and better every year. Plus, you can buy Pocket Quicken from Landware for you Palm/Visor... and keep track of all yo' cash while you're on the go.

I have been using an old version of MS money for about 5 years. It works well, but I have never used any of the online features. I think any money program would be fine. Just use the cheapest one.

I go with Quicken just to stay away from using too much stuff with MSN I like the interface and have been using since 1998 without a problem

Generally people who have used quicken for a long time wouldn't ever think of trying Money, but in reality both programs are excellent.
