MS Outlook: 3rd party add-on for Rules?

I've already tried this topic over in the Sofware forum, but got no help.

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party add-on for Microsoft Outlook that will allow me to filter emails and give notifications?

Outlook already has the build-in system called "Rules & Alerts" (aka Rules Wizard in older versions of Outlook), but this filtering system only allows 32k worth of space to hold all the rules.

I've got 22 rules now and need more, but I'm at the limit.

Thanks.

EDIT I was too late The bastards got here

It's really not that hard to post in the correct forum. Really. Unless you're confused with a topic like tech support on CPU installation that can possibly go in multiple forums, ya really don't have an excuse.

It's not like it's "Off Topic and Software" forum or something.

You can actually re-enable Rules Wizard if you want, I'm not quite sure why Microsoft decided to screw it up so badly and call it progress.

Ditch MS Outlook. Use Thunderbird.
There are a lot (heaps and heaps, actually) of features that Thunderbird simply cannot offer in the way of collaboration and integration into the rest of the Office suite, and server applications like SharePoint, CRM, etc. In an office environment where any such applications are already implemented and relied upon, Thunderbird can fall quite short.

Do not misunderstand the above intention - Thunderbird is an excellent mail client, but as a stand alone mail client. There are a host of features Thunderbird touts over Outlook, but the better choice in clients is greatly dependent on the end-user's needs.

Thanks ActuaryTm, I've give SAO a look.

As to the whiners about this being in the wrong forum...Guess what? I DID go to the proper forum and got ZERO help. Yes, someone suggested Thunderbird (and that was the ONLY response I got), but I'm on a Corporate LAN with an Exchange Server that only works with Outlook. In the DAYS of my thread being in the Software Forum (Link) I got only ONE response...But in less than an hour here in OT, I've gotten 8.

Who's fault would that be? Ours for doing things right or your dumbass's fault for not getting out of OT?

I don't think anyone's pissed. People are just tired of you playing "WRONG FORUM GOD." But I guess since this crap doesn't really matter I should just move on and enjoy all the things in life that you miss out on 'cuz you're busy being Forum Nazi :frown:
