I think if you completed the survey registration before the links were leaked your subscription will remain intact as the one I created has an expiration date in June of 2010. It's all the people who tried to create accounts only using the actual technet link that are being locked out, and from some reports people who registered on the very last day the survey was up. I think once you have your keys they are good forever.

Well, it was pretty clearly too good to be true.
That said, I managed to get a whole bunch of product keys, so it wasn't bad for a bit of work.
