And when I went through it a second time, I got as far as when they ask for my personal info before I aborted (did reicherb get that far?")

Thanks! It worked for me. Now to wait for the email to the site.

Are they going to do any kind of verification of whether or not your company actually exists. I can put whatever I want in there but I don't have a small company.

I don't think so. I originally got in on this deal when a rep called me and after giving her my info she sent me a link (a different one from the one I posted). But after I filled out the survey, it mentioned that I could send my link to 4 more people, which I did and why I did not post it here earlier. Anyway, I randomly googled the link and saw that someone posted their referral link online. Seeing how it was already out there, I figured I'd pass this on to the rest of you.

As for checking, I remember the only real requirement was that you be an IT professional who worked with small businesses. Also you have to log into their website and do homework and post your answers on some blog. I know they check to see if you log in because when I first signed up, I failed to log in after a while and got an email reminder to do so.

I answered as if I had a small computer repair business with 5 people. Everything worked out ok and I got the email.

Great, thanks for the response. I'll try this out.

They kept calling me until I told them I got the deal for $99 and wasn't interested in renewing for anything more than that.

I made it through the questions but they want you to do evaluations and blog posts for 2.5 months in return for "home work".

worked for me to, I guess if you are worried about keeping up with the surveys and stuff you could save all the keys you might need to a text file for later use before you lose access.

Just because you don't have to break out the credit card doesn't mean it is completely free.

To all you fence sitters, I just posted the link to SlickDeals. If it takes off, you can imagine that Microsoft/Intrepid will probably pull the survey, so if you want in do it now.

Ok, I have a legitimate need for this, took the survey using my actual experience/needs, and got the invite. However, it insists that I am in the UK, even though my answer to the very first question was "US" and not "UK". Looks like the offer is hard coded for EMEA. I tried a couple of different replacement characeters for "emea" in the link they sent me, but no dice. Anyone else crack the code on this one?

I just entered that I was an IT company that sold mostly to small and medium businesses.
Got approved right away. Not exactly a lie as I put in what I did before I got laid off and the company went belly up.

I'll answer my own question - if anyone else finds themself confronted with a registration form that has a hardcoded "UK" for country, go back to the offer link you received in the email that was sent after you completed the survey, and replace "emea" with "na". I now can register with a US address ...

Thanks AllWhacked for the link:thumbsup: (now this is a hot deal)

I answered that I lived in the us and still got in on it.

I don't think they really care where you live as long as you do the surveys and other things they want you to do.

Got a friend hooked up as well.
