Microsoft's big mistake with Danger was that they insisted on writing the software again from scratch. They didn't want an OS built on Java. That delayed the launch significantly, and pissed off Verizon, who decided to require a smartphone data plan even though it wasn't a proper smartphone. The rest is history.

There are no parallels here whatsoever. Educate yourself before you come here and make immature, worthless posts.

MS didn't BUY nokia, but rather they formed a strategic partnership, having nokia to release their phones with WP7!
