Hi, I have an MSI Intel 845 Pro mainboard with P4 1500 423 Socket that seems incompatible with something.
I installed:
Pentium 4 1500 (423 Socket)
256Mb PC133 SDRAM. We tried both Hyundai and NCP brand
Pixelview 32Mb Geforce2 MX200 AGP
20Gb Quantum 7,200 rpm HDD
Windows Millennium.
Apart from the first Mainboard we tried (the 1st totally blew apart the fuses of two PSU's) all MSI 845Pro mainboards we tried are giving the same error.
Whenever I make chages to the system, eg: installing drivers, when the system wants to reboot, it comes up with the following error in a blue screen.
"A error has occured. Please press enter to return to windows or press Alt+Ctrl+Del to reset your computer.
Error Code: 0D : 0108 : 00006FBD"
If I try to shut down using the start menu normally, the computer comes up with "It is now safe to turn off your computer", but does not automatically shut down.
This is a fresh install of Windows, and the error first occured during the windows installation.
Can anyone help us out of jail please?
