I just hope that the MSI board I got isn't some Beta testing board made by MSI before the offical launch of the springdale chipset. I wonder why only MSI released the springdale chipset so early

That is Intel's decision, not MSI's. Whatever their reason, it's not to be overridden by the mobo companies.

The wait for the release on May 20th is because it can coincide with the release of the P4 "C" at 2.4GHz, 2.6GHz ($218), 2.8GHz ($278) on the same or next day.

Well, it has Serial-ATA on the southbridge, don't know if it's RAID or not though.

I have a 2.66 that runs 3300 at default voltage.

So we will see how it goes.
