I have the MSI 865PE Neo2 S mainboard w/3D Phrophet DDR - DVI , Pentium 4 1.6 and 1 memory stick 512 mb/ DDR333. System ran fine this morning until I ran Live update 2 and updated BIOS to latest version. Here is the problem:
System boots up, beeps, while it is loading BIOS, I have noticed the line saying " single or dual channel" during start up. Next thing , the screen scrambles with horizantal black and white lines, then I can see the windows screen, but is is scramble. It looks like emi has gotten into the machine. I did move the DDR 333 to Channel B and it changed hoe the scramble looked. Could it be the ram? Could it be the AGP video card? Scratching head. Thanks
