Yeah, I got 2 of those when it was pre-order only. I ordered 1 on the last day of the old MIR, and then ordered the second the very next day when the new MIR came up and they both got delivered on the same day. Awesome deal.

Looks like this deal lasted all of 15 minutes.

I got the same one for 100AR some months ago. It is really noisy so it's definitely not worth it for a 100, but for 60 you still have some change for decent quiet cooling.

You are the exception......I have it, and I recommended it to a friend who also has it and it's very quiet. Maybe you have a defective fan?

Edit: I had an MSI vanilla x800 back in the day that was bum out of the box like that, and the replacement was whisper quiet. Dunno?!?

my g92 actually raises the ambient temp of the room noticeably when i'm gaming.

That's odd. You should get EVGA Precision Tool and handle that.

This MSI 9800GT idles at 38-39C, and loads up at 60-62C for me....it isn't a reference cooler. Take a look at the picture.
