MSI afterburner, no tab for overlay display?

Hi guys

So I am going to overclock my stock 2500k. I thought i'd install afterburner so I can monitor temperatures afterwards in game.

Everywhere online there is a settings tab called overlay or something. Mine hasn't got that tab? Any ideas? It's 4.1.0.

Hi

For one MSI AB is for mainly OC your GPU, but it can and does have monitoring of CPU temps .
There is no overlay tab, go to monitoring tab , scroll down to what you want to monitor and click the checkmark on left of the item.
Then you can enable overlay "show in On Screen display" (OSD) to show up when in game or 3d app .
There is a On Screen display tab but that is only for hot-keys

Make sure you have "enabled hardware control an monitoring" in general tab .

You need to install the statistic server to have that option enabled.

Correct but RTSS does come bundled with AB , so it should install right after AB .

AH sorted now, thanks. I didn't check the box for statistic server, or rather I unchecked it thinking I didn't need it. Thanks
