I almost purchased a ASUS board but when I read how stable the MSI K7T PRO was &amp; Members having problems with the Bios etc on Asus A7V,I decided to go with MSI(my first MSI board),anyway if it`s good enough for Anandtech it`s good enough for me &amp; so far I am very pleased with my rock solid board,MSI is on my list in the future.

I agree. At first I was a bit disappointed that the Pro2 didn't have ATA-100 support, but then, viola, the Pro2-A. Solved all of my upgrade problems (my friend is getting my current Pro, rock solid that thing is!).

Hey, where was all this MSI love when I bought my 6163 BX board? It's still in my current system, and with the delay of the DDR boards, I'll probably go Pro2-a for an interim solution until the AMD dual boards come out likely mid-2001.

I have 2 of the Pro 2-A's coming- I have been running the Abit KT-7 for a couple of months, now. Suprisingly the Abit has been real solid, but I am still gonna try the MSI ( I have to build a couple of systems for relatives for xmas, but I get to try the MSI's first

After having this MSI BX Master, I am convinced MSI is king of the hill overall.

I'm going to build my first K7 system, and the MSI K7T Pro2 has been the board I've been looking for.

Kudos to MSI for jumping over the behemoths Asus and Abit.

Another big MSI fan. If I can ever break away from the &quot;dark side&quot;, the K7T Pro 2-A looks like the winner. I can't figure out why anyone would purchase a motherboard where the manufacturer charges the customer to replace brand new defective boards. I think they left the &quot;ch&quot; off the end of their name.

MSI rocks, With all the positive experiances I have had with MSI boards over the last few months I doubt Asus or Soyo or Tyan will ever get another penny from me if MSI can continue to put out great boards. It almost makes me proud when I attach the &quot;Powered by MSI &quot;sticker on every machine I build with a MSI mainboard. Man thats product loyalty

I was about to go with the KT7-RAID route but then I saw that Outside Loop computers had the Pro2A with the ATA100 support built in so I jumped on it. Don't think I've ever had a more stable board.

My PRO2A should be here on Monday, I chose it over the KT7 Raid and I'm glad I did. Every review I read just reasures me that I made the right choice!!

Nobody knew about MSI during their MS-6163 BX saga, even though its one of the finest BX boards out there, people just dont recognize with the brand MicroStar. However I saw them from the very beginning as a rising star and will someday be upthere at the top, and today they proved my prediction true. As it stands now, they have a KT133 ace, an i815 ace, a VIA 133A ace, and the good old BX ace.

Like Chansen where was all this love when Anandtech did not recommend the BX 6163 Ver 1 due to stability problems. I bought it anyway as a replacement for ABIT BH6 and what a grand move that was - gave it to my sister more than a year ago and the damn thing has been trouble free ever since day 1.
Since that time I got the MSI 6309 and still haveit love it long before the reviews hit. Of course subsequent reviews praised this board.
Now the Socket A series - enough said.
To me this is old news.
I still maintain that ASUS is not as good as they used to be(quality has decreased in recent times) and ABIT has always manufactured cheap quality boards but with excellent features/poorer stability.
