MSI GL62 broken hinge cover.

Yeah, so I broke that lol. Clumsy tired hands and cheapo build quality don't match so well. Anyway, I'm not sure where to even buy something like that, it's not crucial, laptop works fine, even great after ssd install which led to the damage, but it looks very broken without that hinge cover which blows considering how new it is. I contacted the retailer and waiting on response but I'm not so hopeful and wanted to see if anyone has ideas before I say F'it and grab some superglue to keep that stupid thing on

If Gorilla Glue works, so be it. Or, go to E-Bay and look for a dead one and cannibalize the case.

I have seen certain glues melt some plastics.
Try a test spot in a hidden spot first.

Yeah I will ask MSI see what they say, there's an official repair centre in the town over from where I live maybe they have parts like that kicking around. I've a feeling they will want more money than that cheap piece of plastic is worth in the end. As for superglue its pretty good with plastics in terms of not eating them up it just doesn't always bond very well but I don't need much strength for how I'm going to use it. Also got some good clear bonding caulk I used for polyurethane parts on my car if the superglue fails.

Good thing is all the hardware is still in tip top shape and it's doing the business, this ssd is quick
