The Pro2 isn't available in the states for a few weeks yet. Mwave has it wrong, they're selling a Pro in a Pro2 box (got this from the motherboards forum).

Just bought mine today and sprang for 3 day shipping since I hate waiting for UPS Ground to make it here from California. Now, I just have to see whether the Taisol HSF I ordered last week arrives via Ground first or whether the board will beat it on 3 day. It's a race.

I know that mwave is an ok company and all, but I think that valkyrie is right. Even though they have indicated this an Pro2, the part number(MS-6330) is the same as the Pro on the MSI website.
Although, the MSI web site doesn't even show a part number for the Pro2.

according to Henry Kuo, this is the Pro2 indeed. check the motherboards forums FYI.

Well it does say on the MSI web site that the only difference between the two are the SmartLED and the bios adjustable multiplier settings.

The US MSI website does not even mention the Pro2, but the "home" website in Taiwan does.

If mwave ships the wrong product to me based on the description on their website, there will be hell to pay. I really don't think they are that stupid, however.

received the pro2 and an abit kt7 yesterday, both quality boards but the msi is extremely stable running a duron 700 at 950 1.8 volts. The board would not alow me to up the voltage past 1.7 with the duron. I had to use a pencil on the L7 bridges. The abit was not stable at 950 and had to lower it to 850 at 1.725 volts it was overheating with a chrome orb at 1.8v not sure if the temp sensors are off but was 55C with abit 40C with msi.

The onboard sound does not work on my msi, might be a bios problem. Only options in bios was disable and auto for sound. Does not post any audio devices. Not too big of a deal cause using sblive, but just wanted to see how it sounds.

if you get the combo at multiwave scrap the coolermaster heatsink, if you plan to overclock.

hopefully this board will start showing up soon at other vendors. At lower prices still a Hot deal at $113

nocash, did you try to install the sound drivers via the installation program? it gave me an error too, but i had no problem manually installing the driver (by specifying the inf file location). hope this helps
