im gonna pick up that ps which seems to be a superflower from compusa then and return this damn expensive ass antec psu then.... although i am NOT ocing at all, my computer is at all stock settings and still has these damn problems of not even getting into windows whatsoever.

My mobo came with BIOS 1.3 and recognized the 3000+ Winchester with no problem. I ordered mine from Staples. Revision 1 of the mobo.

Running RAID 0 on 2 Seagate 200GB SATA drives. Blazing fast.

Have you successfully run the Prime95 torture test? Running the Corsair XL memory in dual channel mode, the torture test on my machine does not last a minute. With a single stick installed, it lasted about 5 hours.

Anyone got any clues?

Mmmmm......I don't think so....he has a 3000, which is lacking in multiple areas (completely different cores...not to mention cache size....)

My FX-53 is awesome of this board, as are my dual raptors (HD tach....burst speed of 240 mb/s.....(drooling)


Only prob w/ the board (this really doesnt count) Mwave sent me a bad one, all the seals on it were broken, it was obviously out before I had it....someone had spilled soda on it......makes me LOVE mwave!

Powersupplies: the ultraX connect IS awesome....I have a 6800U which is a torturous test for any PS....save PC power & cooling PSUs.....hehe.

The rails fluctuate a little too much for my tastes though, but otherwise a very good PSU

EDIT: Wimpy, and I mean WIMPY heatsinks on the psu though...
