Me too! I put it in my case and nothing. It would turn on and fans would spin but no post, no boot. Then I started reading the MSI forums. There were several threads that had some good stuff but nothing really close to my problem. So I was going to take it out of the case and try running it on some cardboard. I started taking off the connector and wires and pulled off the 12v 4 pin mobo connector and thought, "Wow, that came off pretty easily." So I put it back on and made sure it was on and tried taking it off again. Then it hit me, that little plug was not completely on. I put everything back on and lo and behold, it booted!
I did an unattened install with XP SP2 slipstreamed along with the nvidia RAID drivers integrated and installed Windows in about 10 minutes.
Instruction for RAID integration can be found here!
My mobo came with BIOS 1.3 and recognized the 3000+ Winchester with no problem. I ordered mine from Staples. Revision 1 of the mobo.
Running RAID 0 on 2 Seagate 200GB SATA drives. Blazing fast.
