Also with some bios ver for the K8N you can hold down the insert key while powering up and it will start back up again with default settings. Had to use it a couple of times.
What revision of AMD 3200+ do you have? C0 or CG? CG is more memory compatible/friendly. Also is your RAM rated for the timings you are trying to run? What slots do you have the memory in (ie, 1 + 2, 1+ 3, etc). Try moving them to 1 + 3 if you have them sitting in 1 + 2. What voltage is your ram set at? Check the manufactures specs on the memory, maybe you can run a bit more voltage.
Ive currently have my memory set at the following:
500mhz DDR, 2.5-3-3-7 2T at 2.8V Aggressive timings enabled. Two sticks, Kingmax Hardcore series of ram. 1GB total.
More than likely it is not the motherboards when it comes to ram problems. The memory controller is onboard the A64, hence where many problems can arise. What may work on one A64 may not work on another. Original C0 steppings had problems running 2 sticks of DDR of many makes.
