Hmm, but NewEgg has always been very slow in getting new products out in my opinion. Like the X800, it took them a bit to get it on the site while other sites had it up already. Whatever, I just want this mobo out now so I can buy it in time. I emailed Zipzoomfly asking if they really have it in stock and ready to ship or they are just taking orders. I await a response. I will update on that.

Hey Bar81,
Would you tell me how K8N works with your DTR and memory (1:1)?
I might get K8N instead of VNF3 if it works well

I ordered mine yesterday around 4PM Eastern and today around 12PM it was "packed" its still in that position. I also saw ZZF run out of the motherboards and then get more "In Stock" in the same day..... Its quite possible that they saw how many orders went yesterday and ordered more for today.. IF they are indeed just taking pre-orders and not stating that I will be one very upset customer and will never buy from them again.......(!)
I was thinking that my order should have shipped today. But they do state that their process could take a day or two...specially since they have to call your credit card company etc to check everything out first.. If my order doesnt ship tomorrow Im gonna be worried......

Yeah, and once it says it's "Packed", you can't cancel either. We might be waiting a week.
I ordered mine last night and they had all day to ship it, and it just says packed.

Well since this thread has basically turned into a lets sit and wait kinda deal, I will liven the party with a question if thats okay. If not then feel free to ignore me, LOL
I am building an HTPC/PVR, Antec overture MSI K8N Neo Platinum, A64 2800+(or 2600+ if it comes out soon)what type of memory should I pair with this? Not gonna do any overclocking, so it doesn't need to be high speed stuff, stability is one concern, since the rig will run 24/7. . But I don't need to buld right this second, kinda waiting to see hopefully a release date on the 2600+. So shudl I wait and hope for better prices or a better deal, or are prices gonna continue to rise?
What speed should I get PC3200? Also do you think 512MB is enough for PVRing and playing DVD's and stuff like that. I'm sure its fine for pretty much everything, the only thing i am slightly worried about is PVRing with multiple cards at once. But they are hardware encoder cards, although not sure if that has anything to do with the memory, I know it use less or no CPU though.
