MSI K8N Neo Platinum

I am ordering a MSI K8N Neo platinum from newegg. Is that board known for any problems? I don't feel like looking through google for any problems with that motherboard. Please help before I order it. Thanks.

When it works, it's a good board.
I hear problems are popping up like crazy with that board. but you might get lucky and get a good one!

So is it worth $126 bucks ? Also, there are no big known problems from what you said so I guess the motherboard isn't bad.

I have the board and it's been working great so far. Only problem I've run into is if it's set to try to boot from a cd and there is no boot cd inside it'll stall. Barely a problem really.

i have this board, its awesome. no problems from me so far, ( i dont know what anyone is talking about because this board runs better than any board ive ever had ) just make sure you update the bios. actually the only problem with it is the error in temperature reads on the cpu. but that is trivial and will be fixed with the new patch. as a whole, yeah awesome board, well worth the 126 newegg charges.

I've read about lots of problems with this board over at the MSI Forums . Course that's to be expected as it's a user-run tech support board. But I've heard just as many people praising it. I'm planning on buying one of these myself for my 3400 clawhammer next week.
